PURPOSE: Provided is a reducing agent for removing nitrogen oxide produced from a selective non-catalytic reduction process which has high denitrification efficiency and minimizes generation of scale generated when being stored and generated. CONSTITUTION: The reducing agent comprises an aqueous solution of a base reducing agent selected from the group consisting of an aqueous solution of urea, ammonia, an aqueous solution of ammonia, cyanuric acid and chemical substances which is decomposed to generate NH2 radical when being put in high temperature exhaust gas, methanol and a sodium additive selected from the group consisting of sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate and sodium formate.
