The invention relates to a roller bearing, especially an inclined ball bearing (1), for bearing the steering axle of a motor vehicle, comprising a bearing inner ring (2) and a bearing outer ring (3) between which bearing balls (5) roll off bearing tracks belonging thereto. The bearing inner ring (2) is received by a tolerance ring (6) made of a elastic-spring type polymer material. The inclined ball bearing (1) is characterised in that the bearing inner ring (2), in connection with the bearing track area (2.1), merges into an axially extending area (2.2). Said axially extending area (2.2) is provided with two recesses which are distanced from each other on at least one peripheral point so that at least one elastic projection (2.4) is formed and orientated in an inwardly radial manner, establishing a conductive contact with the steering axle (15). Current is transferred by means of said elastic projection (2.4) of the bearing inner ring (2) whereby the additionally required intermediate rings of prior art are no longer necessary. |
