EXAMINATION AND DEMONETIZATION SYSTEM FOR VALUE MARKERS

The invention relates to a method for the examination and demonetization of value markers and a device and a system for carrying out said method. Objects which are to be examined are provided with a value marker which comprises at least one authenticity marker and optionally other security markers. The originality of the value marker is verified by examining the authenticity marker and subsequently the value marker is demonetized. Finally, verification occurs as to whether the demonetarization has been successful.
