Medical examination device positioning method for use in medical interventions, whereby the position of limb joints are determined by movement of the limbs relative to each other and measurement of their movement paths

Method for positioning a medical examination device relative to an animal or human body without activation of the examination device itself, whereby two limbs or body parts are moved relative to each other and their movement paths measured. From the measurement data, the position of the limb joint coordinates in 3-D space are determined. The examination device can then be positioned relative to the joint in the normal manner. An Independent claim is made for a device for positioning a medical examination device.
