A small vehicle such as particularly a motorcycle, comprising a continuously variable transmission (9) of an engine (1) having a generator (8) and a primary sheave (10) mounted on a drive side rotating shaft (6') (6, 6a, 6b), the primary sheave (10) further comprising a pair of fixed sheave (13) and a movable sheave (14) mounted on the drive side rotating shaft (6b) and a motor (15) axially driving the movable sheave, wherein the drive side rotating shaft (6a, 6b) are projected to both sides of the engine (1), the generator (8) is mounted on the drive side rotating shaft (6a) projected to one side of the engine (1), the primary sheave (10) is mounted on the drive side rotating shaft (6b) projected to the other side, and the motor (15) is disposed on the drive side rotating shaft (6b) on the outside of the primary sheave coaxially with and on the outer periphery of the rotating shaft (6b), whereby a power loss can be reduced and the motor can be installed in an installation space for a conventional centrifugal weight roller without increasing a transmission case by effectively utilizing the restricted small space of the motorcycle.
