COATING COMPOSITION FOR TENDON FOR PRESTRESSED CONCRETE

A coating composition for a tendon for a prestressed concrete being applied on the surface of the PC tendon, characterized in that it comprises an epoxy resin, a polyfunctional isocyanate compound, calcium oxide and water, and optionally, a water absorbing polymer, and has a curing time so adjusted that the prestress by the PC tendon is exhibited 30 or more days after the placing of a concrete. The coating composition allows the exhibition of prestress after the hardening of a concrete even when used in a large concrete structure, and also is excellent in storage stability.
