A fixing mechanism for bundling cables while utilizing the installation space of a network apparatus effectively. The mechanism for fixing a network apparatus, being connectable with cables being connected with a communication unit and assisting communication by the communication unit over a network, to an object at a specified angle with respect to a horizontal direction, the mechanism is characterized by comprising a section for supporting the housing of the network apparatus, a section being capable of housing the cables, and an engaging section being connectable with the object.
