PURPOSE: A method for offering a POS(Point Of Sale System) management service through online/offline is provided to rent out a POS terminal, and a related equipment and software, and to maintain the equipment at a low cost through the online/offline. CONSTITUTION: A user rents the POS terminal and the related equipment and software, and pays a service charge to a POS rental part. The information of the POS terminal in a shop and the user information are registered, and various master files and softwares needed to sell and manage the goods are transmitted to the POS terminal(S110). If a transaction is occurred, the sales information according to the transaction is registered to the POS terminal and is transmitted to a server of the POS rental part(S114). The sales information transmitted to the server is processed and stored(S138).
