ARTIFICIAL EXTRACELLULAR MATRIX AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

摘要

An artificial extracellular matrix containing heat-stabilized fish-origin collagen wherein the heat stability of the fish-origin collagen, which inherently has a heat-denaturation temperature of lower than 37 ~ C, has bee n improved. Because of having an appropriate stabilityin vivo and a function o f highly activating tissue repair, the artificial extracellular matrix has no need for further blending with heat-denatured collagen. Moreover, it contain s the fish-origin collagen and thus has little risk of being contaminated with pathogens.
