SUBSTANCE: solid laser illuminator incorporates reflector that houses pumping source and active element installed in reflector channel which ends are fixed by means of sealing springy ring-shaped gaskets. Radial clearance between active element and walls of channel amounts to 0.1 mm or over and is filled with water and salt solution.
