FIELD: medicine, medicinal microbiology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with serological diagnostics of syphilis. Purified treponemal suspension undergoes inactivation at (55±3)C for (30±2)min or neutral formalin at final concentration of (0,6±0,2)% for (84±12), centrifuging at 2500 g for (60±5)min to be treated with ionic detergent - SDS at concentration of (1,5±0,5)% for (30±2)min at (60±2)C or nonionic detergent - triton X-100 at final concentration of (0,3±0,1)% for (30±2)min at (38±2)C followed by centrifuging at 200 g for (60±5)min.
