Personal care composition comprising hydrophobic gel

Disclosed is a personal care composition comprising by weight: (a) from about 5% to about 35% of a hydrophobic gel comprising: (i) a cholesteryl derivative; (ii) an oil swelling clay material; (iii) a non-volatile liquid oil; and (iv) a polar solvent; and (b) a carrier which is substantially free of water, surfactant, and lecithin; which satisfies the need for a personal care composition having improved physical stability.
