The device includes a component for overload protection formed by a drive disc(8) which is held by form-locking on the hub(2) and is torsionally fixed in such a way that the transmission of the force between the hub and drive disc is directly and permanently terminated when a predetermined torque value is exceeded. The form-locking connection between the drive disc and hub is formed by a splined profiling(9) with tooth-form keys. The drive disc is equipped on the outer edge side with circumferentially spaced dogs(11), each of which engage in a corresponding space in the disc defined by radial ribs. Elastomer elements lying between the edges of the respective dogs and associated ribs on the drive disc provide vibration damping.
