PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine cell-containing stretched film having a high cell content which has excellent heat resistance, flexibility, printability, and travelling properties, particularly a fine cell-containing stretched polyester film which is suitable for use in surface protective film substrates, printing substrates, packaging, cards, labels, buffer materials and the like. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a fine cell-containing stretched plastic film is characterized in that a film, which has been molded without foaming of a part of the end of the film, is stretched in a cross direction and the end of the film is then cut and removed.
