PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high heat conductive resin material excellent in moldability, mechanical properties, antistatic properties and electromagnetic wave-shielding properties by solving problems in a conventional material in which the heat conductivity is increased by blending inorganic material such as metal or the like or inorganic fiber. SOLUTION: The high heat conductive resin material comprises a carbon fiber and a matrix resin in a specific ratio. The carbon fiber is obtained by melt spinning a meso phase pitch having each of an optically anisotropic content, a softening point and a weight decrease by heating at the spinning temperature in a specific range, subsequently insolubilizing, carbonizing and graphitizing the fiber.
