RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR CARBON DIOXIDE REFRIGERANT AND TRANSPORT HOSE FOR CARBON DIOXIDE REFRIGERANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a carbon dioxide refrigerant that does not foam in contact with carbon dioxide in the supercritical state and is hard to expand shortly after the contact, and a transport hose for the carbon dioxide refrigerant having an inner tube composed of the rubber composition. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for the carbon dioxide refrigerant comprises a blended rubber which contains at least one nonpolar rubber. The composition has a tensile elongation at break (EB) of less than 200% and is used under such a condition as it comes in contact with carbon dioxide in the supercritical state. The transport hose for the carbon dioxide refrigerant has the inner tube composed of the rubber composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
