PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a carbon dioxide refrigerant with excellent heat resistance that is hard to expand and does not foam when being in contact with carbon dioxide in the supercritical state, and a transport hose for the carbon dioxide refrigerant having an inner tube composed of the rubber composition. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for the carbon dioxide refrigerant comprises a hydrogenated butadiene rubber that is prepared by hydrogenating a part of a butadiene component in a polymer containing the butadiene component and is suitable for use under a condition possibly in contact with carbon dioxide in the supercritical state. The transport hose for the carbon dioxide refrigerant has the inner tube composed of the rubber composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
