PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly slide a transporting container on the upper stage for stacking even if the center of a rail groove of a transporting container on the lower stage deforms outwardly. SOLUTION: A downward protrusion 8 is made to protrude downwardly on the lower surface of a pedestal 4 provided on the external surface of a side wall 3 on the longer side of the transporting container 1. A guide 6 is provided, which is inclined to be farther from the sidewall 3 toward both ends in the direction parallel to the long side of the inner side face of the protrusion 8 and formed to be approximately arcuate, approximately dog-leg-shaped or approximately trapezoidal in plan view. The rail groove 7 is formed along the long side of a flange 2 on the long side of the container 1. When stacking the containers, the downward protrusion 8 provided with the guide 6 of the container 1 on the upper stage is slidably fitted into the rail groove 7 of the flange 2 of the lower stage container 1.
