PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporarily installed operation switch for a passenger conveyor, usable after completing the renewal of an existing control panel before completing the renewal of a balustrade. SOLUTION: At the time when the renewal of at least the control panel into a new control panel is completed except a balustrade part 1 and a step, the operation switch 4 is mounted on the balustrade part 1 and a cable with a connector 6 is used for connecting the operation switch 4 to the new control panel.
