<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten recovery working time of an airbag system. <P>SOLUTION: A fragile portion 24 of the outside of an airbag door portion 12 in the cross direction is provided so as to extend in the direction of the forward diagonal inside of a vehicle, toward an outer end 18A of a defroster outlet 18 in the cross direction, and a front end portion 24A reaches the cross direction outer end 18A. A fragile portion 26 of the inside of the airbag door portion 12 in the cross direction is provided so as to extend in the forward direction of the vehicle, toward the middle portion 18B of the defroster outlet 18 in the cross direction, and the front 26A reaches the middle portion 18B of the defroster outlet 18 in the cross direction. A lower end portion 24B of the outside of the fragile portion 24 in the cross direction and a lower end portion 26B of the outside of the fragile portion 26 in the cross direction are connected at a fragile portion 28 extending in the cross direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
