<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that only a means such as characters, photographs, pictures, or charts can be used to express all display information in a limited display space on a conventional display plate. <P>SOLUTION: Display plate is provided with a non-contacting IC medium in which additional information for supplementing display information is stored as digital information, as an information source. When a user brings an electronic apparatus provided with a reader/writer unit for reading information stored in the non-contacting IC medium from an antenna, close to the non- contacting IC medium of the display plate, the non-contacting medium transmits the stored additional information (S01), and the electronic apparatus receives the transmitted additional information (S03 and 05). The electronic apparatus stores the received additional information (S07), and the additional information is audibly or visibly displayed on the electronic apparatus with characters, photographs, images, sounds, or the like (S09). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
