PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of signal by preventing the input of stray light into a light receiving element and to miniaturize a device. SOLUTION: The device has a light emitting element 15 which outputs a light signal toward one of optical fibers 17, a light receiving element 16 to which the light signal is inputted from the other of the optical fibers 17, an element mounting part 13 on which the light emitting element and the light receiving element are mounted, a transmission side lens part 9 which transmits the light signal outputted from the light emitting element onto one of the optical fibers, and a light receiving side lens part 10 which transmits the light signal which is outputted from the other of the optical fibers onto the light receiving element. A lens body 7 in which the transmission side lens part and the light receiving side lens part are integrally formed is provided and a light shield part 11 which are integrally formed into a lens body of materials which are different for the light transmission side lens part and the light receiving side lens part is provided between the light transmission side lens part and the light receiving side lens part of the lens body.
