PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bright, compact and inexpensive image pickup lens system which is adaptable to an angle of view exceeding 30°, in which the incident angle on an image pickup device is made small, whose entire length is short and whose aberration is excellently corrected. SOLUTION: The image pickup lens is constituted of an aperture diaphragm, a biconvex positive lens, and a meniscus lens whose surface on an object side is concave from the object side, and respective lenses have at least one aspehrical surface.
