PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid detergent providing powdery feeling without using a powder which has a problem in stability, and to obtain the liquid detergent providing a pearl feeling without using a conventional luster agent. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent containing a fatty acid soap and water contains 0.01-6 wt.% candelilla wax based on the whole amount of the liquid detergent, and provides the pearlescent feeling.
