PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give no unpleasant feel to users who have contact with a car box in use in a winter season, even in an elevator with the car box rejecting an air-conditioner in the point of a space. SOLUTION: Heating elements 8 are provided on the reverse sides of a plurality of side plates 4c constituting the car box 4 of the elevator for directly heating the side plates in use in a winter season or in a cold region. The heating elements 8 are connected to a power supply via a control device 9 so that they can be turned on or off and subjected to temperature control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
