METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLAP VENT PIECE, METHOD FOR RECOVERING SHAPE, AND INSTALLING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a flap vent piece which can improve durability in blast cleaning of the piece capable of holding the initial performance of a tire to be obtained or an appearance in a good state by preventing the occurrence of a spew (whisker-like protrusion) on the surface of the tire or a burr-like extended part in molding the tire in a mold. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the flap vent piece 1 comprises the steps of: bending a plate-like member 2 having spring characteristics in a shape for functioning as the opening/closing valve of the opening 5 by fixing the member near one opening 5 of a vent hole 4 of a mold 3 for molding the tire; blast-cleaning the member 2 by spraying a granular medium together with high-pressure air or high-pressure water; and bending the member 2 so as to separate the region other than a site for fixing the member 2 to the mold 3 from the mold 3 for molding when the surface side brought into contact with the medium is deformed to be recessed by a stress to be applied from the medium in the shape of the member 2.
