PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber treatment agent which can effectively prevent the scuffing and the unevenness in weaving of glass cloth, and has excellent heat cleaning properties as well. SOLUTION: The glass fiber treatment agent contains a compound obtained by bringing at least one kind of organic amine selected from N-(2-aminoethyl) ethanolamine, ethylenediamine and polyalkylene polyamine into condensation reaction with fatty acid, and further adding at least either urea or guanidine thereto.
