PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sheet or a film with good appearance which can be continuously produced with a stable pressure of an extruder when a mixed powder and granule of a ground product of a scrap sheet or a scrap film and a powder and granule of a new raw material is melt- extruded by recycling the ground product of the scrap sheet or the scrap film. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polycarbonate resin sheet or film comprises grinding the scrap sheet or the scrap film generated by trimming side edges of a melt-extruded polycarbonate resin sheet or film to obtain the ground product, mixing the ground product obtained and the powder and granule of the new raw material, then feeding such the mixed powder and granule to an extruder, and melt-extruding it. In this method for manufacturing the polycarbonate resin sheet or film, the ground product or the mixed powder and granule is passed through a magnetic separator after the scrap sheet or the scrap film is ground and before the mixed powder and granule is fed into the extruder.
