PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor with very good electrophotographic properties such as environmental potential stability and residual potential and which can exercise a stable function even with repeated use. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor provided with an intermediate layer and a photoreceptor layer on a supporting body in this order, electron transporting material with nonhydrolyzable polymerized functional group is contained in the intermediate layer.
