PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a camera and to improve the outside appearance of the camera by contriving the arrangement of a photographic lens unit, a finder unit and a flashing unit. SOLUTION: The photographic lens unit 210 and the finder unit 250 are mounted in a lens block 200, and also the flashing unit 240 having a light emitting part 243 capable of moving between a using position where it projects from the upper surface of the lens block 200 and a housing position where it is housed in the lens block is provided in the camera. The finder unit 250 is positioned on the side of the unit 210 and space on the side of the unit 210 above the unit 250 is set to the housing space of the light emitting part 243 as seen in a photographic optical axis direction.
