PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearable display system with freely adjustable magnification. SOLUTION: The wearable display system which displays an inputted image signal is characterized by including an objective which enlarges the image signal, a diffraction grating which diffracts the image signal enlarged through the objective at a predetermined angle, a waveguide which propagates the signal diffracted by the diffraction grating, and an ocular which images and shows the image signal propagated through the waveguide to a user. Thus, in the utilization of wearable very thin and small constitution elements, an image of high magnification is obtained by enlarging the image to be displayed primarily by using a refracting lens and secondarily by using the ocular, and the visual field of the user is secured at a maximum to embody the display system which is wearable like spectacles.
