PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backfill injecting apparatus which injects a back-filling material into a gap between a conduit and a pipe body assembled by plastic lining materials so as to cover an inner surface of the conduit, with efficiency and at a low cost, and to provide a backfill injecting method. SOLUTION: The backfill injecting apparatus is comprised of an injecting pipe 1 installed in the gap between the conduit and the pipe body over the entire length in a pipe axial direction, an injecting head 2 fitted into the injecting pipe 1 in a manner slidably movable in the pipe axial direction, a hose 3 for feeding the back-filling material into the injecting head 3, and a reciprocative moving means for reciprocatively moving the injecting head 2 in the injecting pipe 1 in the pipe axial direction. According to the backfill injecting apparatus, the injecting head 2 has a first injection port 6 opening in a radial direction, and the injecting pipe 1 has a plurality of second injection ports 9 each equipped with a check valve, serially arranged at intervals in the pipe axial direction, whereby injection of the back-filling material is carried out by matching the first injection port 6 to a selected one of the second injection ports 9.
