This windscreen wiper support block consists of a 'U'-shaped profile (1) which can be laid on the windscreen so that the base (2) of the block (1) is vertical and is taller than the depth of the wiper blade. When the windscreen wiper is not in use, the upper arm (4) of the block is inserted manually between the windscreen wiper blade and arm and the lower arm (3) rests on the windscreen, or wiper rack, in order to lift the blade from the surface. This ensures that the blade remains in its correct shape and cannot be stuck by frost or heat to the windscreen. The block can then be manually removed before using the wipers.
