<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent destruction of a permanent magnet in a superconducting bearing in a radial direction. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a rotor 1, a superconducting bearing 2 in the radial direction, a superconducting bearing 3 in the axial direction, magnetic bearings 4, 5 in the radial direction for controlling two positions in the radial direction orthogonal to each other of the rotor 1, and an electric motor 10 for rotation drive. The superconducting bearing 2 in the radial direction comprises a first annular permanent magnet 17 having a plurality of annular permanent magnets 20 arranged in the vertical direction inside the vertical cylindrical body 18, and a first annular superconductor 26 having a superconductor 31 arranged opposite to the first annular permanent magnet 17. The superconducting bearing 3 in the axial direction comprises a second annular permanent magnet 22 having a plurality of annular permanent magnets 25 arranged on the undersurface of the horizontal annular plate 23 concentric with the rotor, and a second annular superconductor 34 having a superconductor 37 arranged below the second annular permanent magnet 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
