<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing method in which the number of spray nozzles for a bactericide such as a hydrogen peroxide solution are reduced as much as possible and which can uniformly sterilize the entire region in an aseptic chamber. <P>SOLUTION: A sterilizing fluid (12) is prepared by mixing 5-10 ml of a mist having a mean particle size of 100-500 μm composed of a 35% hydrogen peroxide solution, and sprayed through a two-fluid type spray nozzle (6), with aseptic air of 1 m<SP>3</SP>sent from an aseptic air generating unit (5) in a sterile filling and packaging apparatus. The sterilizing fluid (12) thus prepared is introduced into the aseptic chamber (100) for a fixed period of time through a fluid introduction duct (8), and the entire region in the aseptic chamber (100) is uniformly sterilized. Further, the aseptic air whose temperature is raised to 70°C or more by a heater (3) provided in the aseptic air generating unit (5) is introduced into the aseptic chamber (100) through the fluid introduction duct (8). After sterilization is thereby further promoted, the aseptic chamber (100) is dried so that no hydrogen peroxide solution remains therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
