<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the energy utilization efficiency of a hot water supply system utilizing exhaust heat of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water supply system 1 comprises a hot water storage tank 10 to store hot water, a fuel cell unit 20 to generate power by reacting a fuel gas with oxygen in air and exhaust high-temperature air after the reaction, a first heat exchange unit 30 to transfer exhaust heat generated from the fuel cell unit 20 to hot water in the hot water storage tank 10, a heat pump unit 40 to pump the exhaust heat from the fuel cell 22 which is too much to be heat-exchanged by the first heat exchange unit 30, and a second heat exchange unit 50 to transfer the heat energy pumped by the heat pump unit 40 to the hot water in the hot water storage tank 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
