PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte film molded by a simple film forming process and exhibiting a high ion conductivity while suppressing the swelling of the film under a high temperature and high humidity condition by incorporating a small amount of an acidic group-containing polybenzimidazole in an acidic group-containing polymer excellent in ion-conductivity.

SOLUTION: This composition contains the acidic group-containing polymeric compound together with a polybenzimidazole-based compound having sulfonic acid group and/or phosphonic acid group on a specific aromatic ring.
