<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of uniformity and adhesion of a coating film which is a problem accompanying reduced S and Se contents of ≤50 ppm, and to avoid deterioration of a bending property in a manufactured sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A steel slab having a composition containing, by mass, ≤0.08% C, 2.0-8.0% Si and 0.005-3.0% Mn, wherein Al content is reduced to <10 ppm and S and Se contents are each reduced to ≤50 ppm, is hot-rolled, annealed if required, cold-rolled either once or ≥ twice with interstage annealing steps and subjected to decarburizing annealing. Then, the steel slab is coated with an annealing separator which essentially comprises MgO and contains 0.1-9.0 pts.mass Ti compound, and subjected to final finish annealing employing a maximum temperature of 1,050-1,150°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
