PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the weight of a transmission by reducing the amount of lubrication oil in the transmission without changing the height of the lubrication oil level. SOLUTION: This lubrication oil reduction structure of a transmission 1 is composed by mounting a lightweight volume member 6 on the bottom surface of a casing 2 of the transmission 1.
