PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air agitator which restricts the noise of the air agitator, and improves ventilating ability thereof and which can prevent intrusion of insects and small animals. SOLUTION: This air agitator 1 for a space under floor and under the roof is provided with two divided fixed and moving fan casings 2 and 3, a fan motor 6 provided between the fixed and the moving fan casings 2 and 3, and a multi- blade fan 8 fixed to a rotary shaft 7 of the fan motor 6 for rotation. As a moving means for the moving fan casing 3, a moving motor 11 provided in the periphery of the fixed fan casing 11, a spiral shaft 12 extended from the moving shaft 11, and a nut 13 engaged with the spiral shaft 12 and fixed to the moving fan casing 13 are provided.
