PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile weather strip capable of smoothly making the relative movement of a movable member to a companion member while controlling the occurrence of a rustle with the maintaining of good airtightness, water- tightness and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: The pile weather strip 30 comprises a belt basic material 31, a pair of pile rows 32 napped so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the basic material 31 on the basic material 31 and a fluid intercepting membrane 33 erected on the basic material 31 between both pile rows 32. The fluid intercepting membrane 33 comprises one sheet material formed by laminating a synthetic fiber-made nonwoven fabric and a synthetic resin-made film. The sheet material is arranged to the inside of pile threads 32a in a state to bend the sheet material so as to have a J-shaped section, and the bent part is connected to the basic material 31 together with the pile threads 32a to erect the fluid intercepting membrane 33 on the basic material 31.
