PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for automatically pivoting a video display are provided to automatically change a pivot state according to a change of an installation state of the video display. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(S) senses an installation state of a video display(A,B). An interface of the video display interfaces a host(H) and the video display. A control unit of the video display generates installation state information according to sensing signals output from the sensor for transmitting the installation state information to the host. An interface of the host interfaces the video display and the host. A control unit changes a pivot control state to correspond to the installation state information. |
