<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fret saw in which a workpiece can be horizontally placed on a work table all the time, even if the lateral angle between a jig saw and the work table is changed, and the angle change can be observed with ease at the time of angle adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: A support frame having two cantilever members vertically in parallel opposite to each other for installing the jig saw between the free ends, is axially supported by the work table where the workpiece is placed to be sawn and divided with the jig saw which penetrates through the workpiece in a straight line, so that the two cantilever members provided above and below the work table can swing in laterally opposite directions.
