PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fixing device for a construction machine enabling easy execution of work such as the cleaning of a windshield of a driver's cab or maintenance. SOLUTION: This guard fixing device comprises: a guard body 16 provided in front of the windshield 15 in the driver's cab 5 of the construction machine such that one end thereof is turnable; and locking means 18 provided between the driver's cab 5 and an opening end that is the other end of the guard body 16, detachably locking the opening end side of the guard body 16. Thereby, by unlocking the locking means 18 to open the guard body 16 when executing start-up inspection before a start of the work, cleaning dust or the like adhering to the windshield 15 halfway through the work and executing the maintenance, the work can be executed without being disturbed by the guard body 16 to easily execute the cleaning of the dust or the like adhering to the windshield 15 and the maintenance work in a short time.
