摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress that air is sent to a catalytic converter by inertial rotation of a turbocharger, and oxygen deterioration and O2 storage generate in the catalytic converter when an internal combustion engine performing supercharging with the turbocharger is suspended. SOLUTION: When the internal combustion engine equipped with the turbocharger and the catalytic converter is suspended, a related control means to control at least one of turbocharger rotation number and fuel shutoff in relation to another one responding to the engine stop command is operated. It makes for the turbocharger rotation number not to be more than a predetermined threshold into one condition for the fuel shutoff, or load of a dynamo is applied to the internal combustion engine before and after the fuel shutoff, and the measures to reduce the turbocharger rotation number are taken.
