PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable image recording material excellent in film strength and rapid processability, ensuring suppressed fogging and having good image preservability. SOLUTION: The heat-developable image recording material comprises at least one photosensitive silver halide, one or more non-photosensitive organic silver salts, a reducing agent which reduces a silver ion, a thermal solvent and a binder on at least one face of a support, wherein at least one of the non-photosensitive organic silver salts is the silver salt of a polymer containing a repeating unit derived from a carboxylic monomer.
