PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier plate for facilitating mounting work of a glass and stabilizing the state of mounting for a long time, while enabling use of an ordinary glass. SOLUTION: The carrier plate 10 comprises a main body 11, a pair of right and left clamps 13 opposing the main body, and a screw 12 for screwing a leg part 45 of each of the clamps to the main body 11. The main body 11 is provided with an engaging projection 18 engaging with an opening for mounting the glass, and each of the clamps 13 is provided with a glass receiver 53 intervened by a spring hinge 52 to engage with the lower end of the glass. A pair of right and left plate springs 54 extend from the lower part of the glass receiver 53 to be inclined to the lower right and the lower left, respectively, and an engaging element 55 for engaging the free end of each of the plate springs 54 is inserted into a slit 27 of the main body 11. The clamps 13 are urged upward by means of the plate springs 54, and are also urged forward to the side of the main body by means of the spring hinge 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
