PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proofing method having an infrared ray reflecting function capable of inhibiting the rise of temperature of a water-proofing material face, remarkably reducing the heat intruded into a room, which remarkably reduces the cooling load and contributes to energy saving, and serving as one of measures against heat island phenomenon. SOLUTION: The impregnation primer is applied to a surface of the concrete, and a water-proofing material in which a pigment of high solar insolation reflectivity defined in JIS A5759 is dispersed, is applied to the same by a thickness of 50-5000μm, preferably 50-3000μm.
