PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material composition capable of providing a coating film excellent in stain resistance, weather resistance, moisture resistance, scratch resistance, coating appearance and adhesiveness. SOLUTION: The coating material composition comprises (X) 30-90 wt.% polyol resin obtained by copolymerizing a polymerizable monomer mixture comprising (A) 0.1-20 wt.% polymerizable ultraviolet light-stabilizing monomer with (B) 10-65 wt.% polymerizable unsaturated monomer containing hydroxyl group and (C) 0-95 wt.% of the other copolymerizable unsaturated monomer, (Y) 10-70 wt.% curing agent and (Z) 1-50 wt.% hydrophililizing agent, and the hydrophililizing agent of the component Z is (a) at least one kind of inorganic oxide sol selected from aluminum oxide sol, silicon oxide sol, zirconium oxide sol and antimony oxide sol or the component (a) and (b) a specific organosilicate or a condensation product thereof.
