<p>Extraction of the fuel core of nuclear fuel elements in a metal sheath by subjecting the element to electrochemical cutting of the sheath and leaching out of the fuel by introducing the electrolyte used for cutting into the sheath under pressure, with the improvement whereby the fuel is dissolved in the electrolyte arising from leaching by concentrating this in a dissolver/evaporator and the distilled electrolyte is recycled.</p> |
